Alex Hale, host of the Climate Crisis Club on (Twitter) X every Saturday morning at 11:00 (edt). You can participate and interact with hundreds of amazing people from all over the world discussing the causes and impacts of the climate crisis. Alex skillfully brings many varied voices in the world together to communicate ideas, and so much more, in this predicament we find ourselves in. Alex has also provided a space for a special camaraderie that isn't such an easy task at this time.
Alex got his activist start doing Anti-Apartheid protests, but he is more than that! Alex is an artist and musician who has lived in Greece and had a myriad of life experiences that brought
him to co-create the Climate Crisis Club.
Currently Alex lives in Northern Massachusetts, with his partner of 22 years and his 2 sons.

I had a somewhat privileged schooling, progressive and then very beautifully landscaped. Both attitudes affected environmental influences from early age. For example George Monbiot was peer at both schools. Anyway enough of that
(some bad aspects too).
1984 I was profoundly affected by Ethiopian famine, and by 1985 I had become die hard environmental activist and experimental writer on diverse subjects-flood capture irrigation, tree planting using ancestors' physical remains. Political reform through cooperation in place of confrontation.
In 2017, after 33 years petitioning mostly by mail/phone and from 2009 via social media, I was on the verge of giving up having seen all the positive steps like Rio Earth Summit, Kyoto Protocol and even Paris COP 2015 falling by the wayside. Aug 2018 Greta Thunberg stepped up and you know it shouldn't take
a kid starving herself from climate terror to break down awareness and weariness, but certainly her self acknowledged neuro diverse approach, was an assurance that it's okay, maybe a strength to have life MH issues. So big thank you and remain strength to Greta and also Sven.
Since 2018- my response to the climate crisis and ecological and social mayhem has been supercharged. Main aim - wake people up, understand as much as possible, share familiar themes with in depth understanding.

Kim M., Climate Crisis Club's webmaster, editor of the Blah Blah Blog! and regular co-host/panelist of the club's X Space on Saturday mornings was born in Canada at 325ppm.
For the past two years she has co-hosted for the Climate and Ecology Workshop community space on Twitter/X.
She researches and writes about ecology and the impacts of the climate crisis on nature, on the future. She is a regular contributor to the Climate Crisis Club's "Blah, blah, blog."
She is a passionate Canadian environmentalist, pollinator gardener, beef-free for 30 years, vegetarian for 1 year, flightless for eight years. She has a heat pump and is saving for solar panels and battery.
She leaves water out for the animals. She likes birds, skunks, frogs, Monarch Butterflies and milkweed plants.
She hopes to find more time to write about and connect on our ecological crisis. You can reach out to her on Twitter, Instagram and Substack.

For decades Andrea has taken up the mantle as a warrior for Mother Earth, a calling that has only gotten stronger as the implications of what we are doing to our planetary home are laid bare. She will do all she can to help in this fight, including using her professional experience to make an impact.
That’s where her work in the executive ranks comes in, because she believes she can make a difference in getting business leaders to listen and step up so we can avoid the worst possible outcomes of the climate catastrophe, as well as to build equal, equitable businesses in alignment with nature.
We cannot continue to build or grow on what we have, that would be foolish. No, the future needs to be very different, but that doesn’t mean worse – unless we don’t do it, which guarantees it will be worse.
But the years and decades ahead will be challenging regardless – we can’t get away from that. We have gone too far, so it’s time to appreciate that, as well as get to work on navigating the road ahead, with honesty, integrity and courage.

After 9 years of Youth Ministry, I entered the world of technology, soon to be immersed in the online community world, which launched me into a Web Development career in the 90’s, and into 2 stints as Web developer in two United Methodist Agencies in Nashville, TN, where I still reside.
After my fulltime professional Web Develoer days were over in 2010, I found myself involved in Web Videocasting and merging my Web skills with my passion for Online Community and the exploding of Social Media. Ive been a blogger since 2002, and a Video blogger since 2010, which has taken me through times like the Occupy Movement and now the Ecological Crisis (and my domain names have reflected that: Theoblogical.org (since 2002), OccupyTheology.org (2012) , and EcoEcclesia.org (2014). The last 12 years have been mostly all Eco-theology focused, set on bringing about an EcoReformation in the churches and in theology itself, because this is THE moral and spiritual issue of our day and the days to come.

To date he has planted over 200,000 trees, dispersed over 1.8 millions of different seed balls, and given away 40,000 saplings to local schools and communities. Bravo!
