Creator of the"Hockey Stick" graph which shows that the marked rise in the Earth's temperatures coincided with humans' increased burning of fossil fuels.
Presidential Distinguished Professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Science at the University of Pennsylvania. He directs the Penn Center for Science, Sustainability, and the Media. His distinctions include membership in the U.S. National Academy of Sciences and the Royal Society. His honors include the Tyler Prize for Environmental Achievement and the Leo Szilard Award of the American Physical Society, and the AHA named him Humanist of 2023.

Dr. William Ripple is a Distinguished Professor of Ecology; and Director of the Global Trophic Cascades Program at Oregon State University, which is a research program that investigates the role of predators in structuring ecological communities and comprises many ecological restoration projects.
Professor Ripple also leads the crucial Alliance of World Scientists (AWS), which provides the collective international voice of thousands of scientists regarding the global climate crisis.

Dr. Phoebe Barnard is an American global change scientist and professor of conservation biology at the University of Washington. Barnard has written more than 180 publications on the vulnerability of ecosystems to climate and land use change. Importantly, she has led/coauthored several journal articles related to the Scientists' Warning series. She has also founded and led many global change initiatives, including the forward looking PLANETARY & SOCIETAL FUTURES research and action program.
